Kyle Kendrick's Home Burglarized and World Series Ring Stolen

The Mount Vernon, Washington home of Phillies pitcher Kyle Kendrick has been buglarized. Many possessions of his including his 2008 World Series ring were stolen. The burglary occured sometime between March 30th and April 1st according to authorities. The thieves clearly knew Kendrick's family wasn't home and spent a good deal of time inside. They managed to not trip the alarm and broke through a locked door. Numerous home electronics and a signed Ken Griffey Jr. jersey were also stolen.

Phillies and Mets To Face Off Tonight

MLB wasted little time to match the Phillies up against our most-hated rivals the Mets. Contrary to what Bob Brookover says, the Phillies and Mets are one of the fiercest rivalries in the National league. The Mets have taken their lumps in the past few years, but whenever the Fightings take on the Mutts it always makes for good trash talk between both teams. And, a win against the Mets feels better than a regular win for sure. Cole Hamels will take the hill against Chris Young tonight at The Bank.

17 Years After Kurt Cobain's Death

It's insane to believe that it's been 17 years since legendary Nivana frontman Kurt Cobain committed suicide. I was in 10th grade back then and it feels like it was just a few years ago. Cobain defined a generation in rock and roll. Once Nirvana brought grundge to the forefront of music, we said goodbye to hair bands and hello to the Seattle grunge scene led by Nirvana, Pear Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains. Cobain was among many legendary musicians who died at the age of 27 - also known as the 27 Club. Many suspect he was murdered by Courtney Love and others subscribe the theory that Kurt Cobain's life was on a downward spiral and this was the result of it. I agree with the latter.
