Osama Bin Laden Is Dead: Killed In Military Operation In Pakistan

Late last night national broadcasts were interrupted around 10:45 P.M. EST. Then it was announced that President Obama would address the nation concerning Osama Bin Laden who was killed in a military operation. Bin Laden was killed in his compound in the town Abbatabad, which is roughly 150 miles away from Islamabad in Pakistan. He was reportedly buried at sea, which is in accordance with Muslim law. In the short-term this is a huge victory in the war on terror, but terror threats will likely increase. In fact, there is a terror threat in Lancaster PA right now; a parking garage near Prince Street is the target of the threat. Stay tuned to WGAL.com for latest news concerning that.

Phillies Lose to Mets in 14 Innings

The Phillies and Mets were engaged in a pitching duel last night, going deep into the night 1-1. News of Bin Laden's death quickly spread and Phillies fans chanted "USA" throughout the stadium. The Mets ended up winning 2-1 in 14 innings.

Flyers All Set For Game Two

The Flyers are looking to rebound from Saturday's disastrous 7-3 loss to the Boston Bruins. Still no word on who will start, but it's likely that  Boucher will likely get another start in net for the orange in black.
