Jayson Werth Returns...Cole Hamels Dominates Nationals

Jayson Werth returned to Citizen's Bank Park for the first time last night, but it wasn't quite as expected. At first he was booed, but the cheers ultimately drowned out any negative reaction. The moment of the evening was when Werth was up to bat and you could see behind his head a sign which read, "nice beard stupid."  Cole Hamels dominated the Nationals' bats on the way to a 4-1 Phillies victory.

"Geronimo" Codename Of Bin Laden Mission To Be Debated By Congress

Congress is set to waste more time - this time over the use of the word "geronimo" for the mission to target Osama Bin Laden. The Senate Indian Affairs committee will hold a hearing Thursday on racist Native American stereotypes, which will also address the Osama bin Laden mission and the code-name Geronimo. They will examine the "inappropriate" and "devastating" use of this name. Once again our Federal Government never ceases to amaze with wasting time. The Navy Seals executed one of the greatest kills in American history, but we have politicans worried about political correctness. That's an absolute joke.

Flyers - Bruins Set For Game 3 Tonight

The Flyers are on the road tonight for game 3 tonight in Boston. Chris Pronger is still out (due to a mystery injury) as is Jeff Carter. No formal announcement has been made, but Brian Boucher expects to start game 3.
