Flyers Blown Out By Bruins in Game 3
The Flyers are now on the brink of elimination after losing in brutal fashion to the Boston Bruins 5-1 last night. Unlike last year when they came back from an 0-3 deficit to win the series, it seems unlikely they'll repeat that feat this year. Once again the Flyers surrendered two quick goals in the first period, but within the first 2 minutes of the game! The Bruins were explosive, hard-hitting, and looked like men against boys last night. The Flyers looked like a minor league hockey team against a Bruins team, which looks like it can win the whole thing this year. The Flyers will try and stave off elimination on Friday night in Boston.
Tyler Perry Gets Destroyed on South Park
Tyler Perry, who recently was ripped by Spike Lee for his depictions of African Americans as buffoons was lampooned by South Park last night. In the episode, Tyler Perry was called the "greatest threat to mankind." I wonder if Tyler Perry will be telling South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone to go to hell after last night's episode?
Phillies Demolish the Nationals Once Again
Once again the Phillies made mince meat of their favorite team to beat up on - that being the Washington Nationals. Vance Worley was once again effective, pitching six scoreless innings to help lead the Fightins to a 7-4 victory over Washington. The Phillies have now scored 11 runs in the past 2 games against a Nationals squad, which looks like it will be in the cellar of the NL East once again.
