Howard Eskin Leaving 610 WIP Afternoon Show After 25 Years

Yesterday on his afternoon sports talk show, legendary Philly boradcaster Howard Eskin announced that his last show will be next month - on September 2nd to be exact.

He stated that he won't be leaving the station for good, but would rather seek other national opportunities while remaining with the station.

Sources confirmed that Glen Macnow and Anthony Gargano will take over his 3:00-7:00 P.M. slot.

So for any of you hoping for  Tony Bruno to return to WIP...that won't happen.

Phillies Take On the Diamondbacks

The Phillies are set to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight. As Matt Babiarz wrote yesterday, the Diamondbacks could become the Phillies' best friend once these two teams are done facing eachother.

The Dbacks currently lead the NL West and are the biggest threat to the Phillies' nemesis - the Giants.

Gametime is 7:05 at The Bank tonight. Roy Halladay will take the hill tonight.
