Joe Paterno Passes Away From Lung Cancer at 85

Legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno lost his battle with lung cancer. He was 85 years old.

Paterno's final chapter of his life will go down as one of the saddest in sports history. He was fired from Penn State following the Jerry Sandusky scandal in November and shortly after discovered he had lung cancer.

Mr. Paterno will ultimately be remembered for the good he has done. As they say, time heals all wounds.

Giants and Patriots are Back in the Super Bowl

For any Eagles fan, yesterday was a worst-case scenario. Both the New England Patriots and New York Giants are back in the Super Bowl after knocking off the Ravens and 49ers respectively.

Now, what is even a harder pill to swallow is the status of Eli Manning. Now that he's playing for a 2nd Super Bowl ring, he has to be considered an elite quarterback.

Eli Manning and Tom Brady will face off in Indianapolis in two weeks.
