Westboro Baptist Church Planning Protest at Funeral of Dallas Green's Granddaughter

The Westboro Baptist Church never fails when it comes to disgracing the United States Constitution and giving all organized religion a black eye. They are to Christianity, what terrorists are to the Islamic faith.

The Westboro Baptist Church is planning on protesting the funeral of Christina Taylor-Green, the granddaughter of Dallas Green, whom was shot by Jared Loughner on Saturday in Tucson Arizona.

The hate group is also planning on protesting the funerals of other victims of the shooting, which nearly claimed the life of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

Fortunately, Arizonans are not going to lay down and allow the Westboro Baptist Hate Organization to disgrace these funerals. The Phoenix Motorcycle Rider Group said it plans on providing crowd control services at the funerals. Organizer Glenn Littell said the Biker Group will "block the stench" so families "can catch their breath."

"It makes me sick to my stomach," said Glen Littell, who's bringing a pack of bikers from the Phoenix Motorcycle Rider Group to Tucson on Thursday. "They're a stench from a slaughterhouse. We're just going to block the stench so the family can catch their breath."

Added to that, there are counter-protests planned against The Westboro Baptist Church. And, Arizona lawmakers are trying to fast-track legislation that will prohibit these animals coming closer than 300 feet away from funerals.

It's a shame we live in a country where police cannot legally exercise force against idiots like this. Unfortunately, they hide behind the guise of freedom of speech and do this to get a rise out of people. And, they essentially urinate upon families at the lowest point in their lives when they are coping with the loss of their loved ones.

Hopefully a message is sent to them this week and they think twice before they disgrace another family's wedding. There's a clear distinction between free speech and hate speech. And, hate speech should have no right to exist or be protected in America.
