Southwest Airlines has announced the cancellation of 100 flights on Monday as the investigation into it's planes continues. The NTSB said that the roof tear incident was the result of cracks in the subsurface of the aluminum skin of the aircraft, which is 15 years old.

Three more Southwest Airlines 737 planes were discovered to have had cracks in their foundations.

Shares of Southwest Airlines fell sharply on Monday after the news of the 737 flaws emerged.

The negative press from Friday's emergency landing and the investigation is a huge blow to the airline which ranks first in customer satisfaction.
