Philly2Philly.com NFL Power Rankings Week 16: Patriots Still At the Top

"Bookmark

The Patriots stay atop the NFL Power Rankings for another week. The Falcons move up but the biggest mover and shaker are the Eagles who pulled off a comeback of epic proportions this past Sunday.

1. Patriots (1) - A tougher than expected game from Packers and Errol Flynn. Oh wait, that's Matt Flynn who played QB for the Pack; my bad...

2. Falcons (3) - Think the guys at Monday Night Football are happy or what? Saints at Falcons... Where's Cossell & Co. when you need them? image

3. Eagles (5) - Think it's time for the Giants to get out of Dodge? Ooh, now that was bad, that was New York Post bad right there...

4. Steelers (2) - Not having Troy Polamalu  cannot be overstated... He and his hair were greatly missed

5. Saints (4) - It's time to get your best Ric Flair on if you're a Saint... "To be the man, you gotta beat the man..."

6. Ravens (7) - Once again the vaunted Ravens Defense was AWOL; oh that's right they weren't playing the Steelers

7. Colts (N/A) - Well lookey here Virginia, the reports of Peyton & Co's demise were greatly exaggerated...

8. Chargers (10) - I know beating an NFC West team should come with its own asterisk but hey, the Bolts just play who's on their schedule...

9. Giants (6) - Seriously thought about dropping them OUT of the top 10 but I felt sorry for them... it takes a lot of energy to blow a lead that big that fast...

10. Jaguars (9) - So they lost to Peyton Manning in Indy in December... yeah, like they're the only team to do that... this is still a very good team
