Phillies moving on without Pedro Feliz

Pedro Feliz solidified what was arguably the best infield in baseball when the Philadelphia Phillies signed him in the Winter of 2008. His offense and defense blew away the production of the Phillies' previous third base occupants Wes Helms and Abraham Nunez. On Sunday, the Phillies announced they were declining the $5.5 million option year on Feliz for 2010, thus "unofficially" officially ending his career in Philadelphia.
